  Berniah Alexander

I wanted to join an extra curricular outside of sports and make new friends and connections                                           with people on campus.

The reason I pledged was because I wanted to get out of my social bubble and meet new                                                     people.

I wanted to be a part of something on campus. I also wanted to develop close bonds and                                                   friendships.

I was a commuter and friends with some of the girls in the house that said it was one of the                                      best choices they've made.

I pledged because my grandpa is a Phi Alpha Pi and it's always been a dream of mine and every time I went to anything last semester they always welcomed me with open arms and                                       made me feel so comfortable.

I pledged because I wanted to find a better connection with myself and others.

I pledged because the bond I saw with all of the girls was something I've been looking for           in a group of friends for quite some time. The house also has always felt like home!

I pledged because I could see the love the girls had for each other in the house and I wanted to be a part of it and saw a place I could be myself and create strong bonds with                                                     others.

I pledged because I always struggles to create close bonds with girls and these girls welcomed me in with nothing but love and open arms. The bonds I had already created before being apart of the house felt like family and a place I could call home forever.

I pledged because I wanted to get out of my comfort zone along with becoming more                             involved on campus. I also wanted to make new friends.

I pledged because after meeting and getting close with all these girls in the house and seeing how much they loved one another really showed me what it was like to be apart of something so special. These girls are the sisters I never had growing up and they share                                       something I've always wanted in my life.
